Parent View - Give Ofsted your view on your child's school

School Day  

Nursery Children should use the Nursery entrance at the front of school at the sessions times confirmed individually.

For all other years (Reception to Year 6) our school day is as follows:-

Morning Session 9.00am - 12.00 noon

Morning Break 10.30 – 10.45 am

Lunch Time 12.00 - 1.00pm 

Afternoon Session 1.00pm - 3.20 pm

A member of staff will be responsible for children from 8.50 am in the main school playground, all children should arrive at school by this time. 

8.50 am - Reception children (Class 1) – A member of staff from Class 1 will open the door for Reception children to come in with their parents.  Class 2 may, if they wish, start to come in to school from when the door opens at 8.50 am for Reception children but we politely ask that Class 2 pupils enter independently without parents and let Class 1 children go in ahead of them.  Class 2 children may choose to wait in the playground to line up with the rest of school at 8.55 am.

8.55 am - a line up bell will be rung and members of staff will escort the children from Classes 2 to 5 into school. 

9.00 am - Registration.  

We encourage all children to come into the classroom independently apart from Class 1 whose parents may wish to help with coats and bags.  If your child has to leave before the end of the school day for any reason, we ask you to report to the office and wait while your child is collected from the classroom.  We ask you to let us know if your child is to be collected by anyone we do not know.

 

School Closure

In the event of the school being unable to open, due to severe weather conditions, a message to parents regarding closure will be sent by text and relayed on Stray FM (97.2) as early as possible.
